Unfortunately, this is entirely related to how Figma works. Currently, Figma does not support the functionality of importing multiple files without disrupting the links to instances in the design system. For this reason, your library should be imported together, and only then can it be split up if you want to.
Absolutely! You have complete control over your design assets, which can be used for commercial and creative use. So, feel free to include them in your projects. However, please note that using uinkits to develop another design system, UI kit, or template (regardless of whether it is within Figma) is not permitted.
