We live in an era where we always seek solutions to make our lives easier. We are surrounded by new technology and every solution that comes our way seems to help our task get done more easily and faster than ever before. Think about it – every piece of technology we have in our homes or in the space we live in is there to help us in some way. We have our phones that can help us stay in touch with everybody. We have smart outlets and switches that can help us be more sustainable and save up money and energy. Yet, all those technology devices seem to have a common ground – accessibility and intuitiveness.

To get more in-depth, by the 80s, an entire culture had been created around business cards, and basically, no one would leave their house without one. Even in the movie American Psycho, we see an exaggerated depiction of the yuppies’ obsession with business cards and who had the most impressive one among their peers in high positions of power. Although satirical, the business card was truly a priority of the time because it represented somebody’s branding and how they could sell their vision.
Well, if we think about it, company’s online presence is today’s equivalent of the business card!
